The contents of this phrasebook in 5 languages is practically expressed in its long title. The western reader has to know simply that from top down the central column contains phrases and sentences in Gondi, Telugu, English, Hindi and Kolami, each in Latin (Roman) script. Gondi, Telugu and Kolami are Dravidian languages belonging to different groups of the Dravidian language family. Gondi (Koyang) is represented by the Adiladab variety spoken in the Andhra Pradesh state. It is a member of the Gondi-Kui group. As regards Gondi in the final part of the phrasebook there are 22 pages of grammatical interest.
